Which breads and buns are vegan? A guide for cafés and restaurants
By ingredient list, 12 products in the catalog are vegan: the three burger buns, the tin challah roll, the Jerusalem bagel, the sourdough baguettes, batons and rustic rolls, and the country sourdough loaf. The catalog marks them “vegan”.

Short answer: A vegan bread has no eggs, milk, butter or honey. “Parve” is not enough — parve allows eggs. Check the ingredient list, or filter “vegan only” in the catalog.

Parve vs vegan
Parve: no meat and no dairy, eggs allowed. Vegan: no animal ingredient at all. Every vegan product in the catalog is also parve — but not the other way round.
Why it matters for a business
About 5% of Israelis are vegan and 13%–17% are vegan or vegetarian. A menu with a few labelled vegan breads opens the business to them without changing the rest of the menu.
